Veterans

There are several resources available to Veterans seeking senior care.

  • Aid and Attendance & Housebound Benefits: Veterans who require help with daily activities or are confined to their homes due to a disability may qualify for additional financial assistance through the VA’s Aid and Attendance or Housebound benefits. These programs provide extra monetary support for Veterans who need long-term care.
  • Veteran-Directed Care: This program allows Veterans to manage their own care by hiring workers to assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. It is designed for Veterans who need personal care services and want to remain independent in their homes or communities.

Veterans choose the military because they’re willing to serve our country and its people. There comes a time when our country and other people need to serve them. Veterans push through, go forward and refuse to give up.

They risk lives, lose limbs and many have died. As they age, their needs are unique. Because of our own personal backgrounds with the military, we know the system, the frustrations and the benefits owed to them.
